From guiding you through posing to capturing the spontaneous, my expertise, chill vibes and quick wit ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. This is not the same experience as your elementary school photo.
Speaking of elementary school photos… If you are nervous about being photographed or if your first thought about posing for engagement photos stir up a little anxiety because you and your partner are “so awkward”, let me put those thoughts to rest. First of all, you’re not alone in thinking those thoughts. I hear that before every shoot. It doesn’t matter if it's a wedding day, headshots, or before family photos - doesn’t matter. It is my job to set your nerves at ease. It is my job to pose you and your partner naturally and give every shot that effortless look. I highlight your love for each other. As you look through my portfolio, keep in mind that all of my couples expressed how “awkward” they are. I may be biased but, I don’t think they look “awkward” at all.
I’m down for outdoor engagement photography, or indoor settings, whatever means more to you and your relationship. I have two approaches to engagement shoots.
I can place you against breathtaking natural backdrops that amplify the romance and connection you share. We can do the golden hues of a sunset, the serene beauty of a lakeside, or go for airy field shoots. These settings enhance the intimacy and authenticity of your images.
We can go more conceptual, based on what you two like to do as a couple. Love cooking? Let's base the shoot in your kitchen and whip something up! Do you love painting or listening to vinyls together? Do you two love dancing or visiting art galleries? We can base the shoot around that!
